Our Mission:

To Ignite.

Dunamis SPARKE (DS!) is a 501(c)(3) youth empowerment organization that exists to support today’s youth by IGNITING their COMMITMENT to walking in EXCELLENCE! DS! teaches participants how to pay it forward, training them to create ripples that INSPIRE subsequent generations of youth to walk in the same sense of GREATNESS, AGENCY and PURPOSE.

DS! proactively works with “at-risk” youths, families, and low-income communities to intentionally change the narrative, and ultimately, the trajectory of the current and subsequent generations to come.

Dunamis (Hebrew translation - dynamic) -

“great power, strength, force, capability; raw
power to accomplish something”—

Spark(e) (American word) -

“to ignite or emit particles of fire or electricity”.

About Us

Dunamis S.P.A.R.K.E! Is a 501(c)(3) youth service organization that exists to ignite and develop the power within youth—so that they transform the world, beginning with their current generation, one youth at a time.

DS!, was originally founded in Decatur, GA in 2014, by a group of change agents seeking to positively impact inner-city youths, by speaking life to their passion and encouraging their personal drive for the pursuit of excellence.

Contributions to DS! can be made to support various program needs. Additionally, donations for supplies, specific initiatives, operations, and / or a specific program site can be designated.

DS! is a 501(c)(3) public charity. All contributions are 100% tax-deductible. Monetary contributions and gifts in-kind are much appreciated and can be designated for a specific purpose.

E-Steam

Youth learning and development after-school programming that exists to increase awareness, ignite interest, and create pathways to careers in science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math for minority youths.

Project Excellence

Targeted mentoring program that focuses on transforming the minds of inner-city youths so that they become phenomenal citizens who are committed to seeking excellence across all facets of their lives.

 

Stewards of Global Change

Community advocacy initiative that exists to support youths in developing a communal mindset, while establishing a culture of philanthropy, and inspiring a generation of youth to become true ambassadors for their local communities and transformation that drives positive global change.

DS! - collaboration with the ATL Teen Leaders Academy, has committed to creating a SMART Teen Center for Rosel Fann Rec Center - fully equipped with the latest tech & STEAM learning tools!

Thanksgiving Love-Gift Meals

#Feed50Families with DS! Each year our organization feeds approximately 325 - 350 people by providing a full Thanksgiving Meal for families in need! Help us do it again for our Annual give-back!
